Alabama, much like Mississppi State, has been inconsistent this year. They are 7-3 on the year, but have not won a road game yet. In fact, they have a 6 game losing streak on the road dating back to last year. In their last game, they were up by 17 points against Tulane, only to lose the game. Hopefully, we won't get that far behind, but we should have hope that we can pull it out, if we do. Their wins were against light weights this year so far. No "wow" victories and beat all that they should have beaten. We need to ROCK THE TAC and make sure that they don't get that road win against us. We need a home victory in a BAD way.

Alabama Women’s Basketball Looks for First Road Win Saturday Release: 12/14/2006
Game Notes
TUSCALOOSA – The Crimson Tide women’s basketball team, which holds a six-game win streak at home this season but also has an identical six-game losing streak in road games dating back to last season, looks for its first victory in an opposing arena this season on Saturday, Dec. 16, when the team travels to Louisiana Tech for its final non-conference road game. Tip-off is set for 7:05 p.m. at the Thomas Assembly Center.
Louisiana Tech, one of the perennial powers in women’s college basketball, comes into the game with a 3-7 mark in 2006-07. The Lady Techsters earned a road win in Starkville over Mississippi State on Wednesday, Dec. 13 as a part of their difficult non-conference schedule.
“Louisiana Tech is one of the most storied programs in all of women’s basketball,” said Alabama head coach Stephany Smith. “They are a team with tremendous athleticism and great size. They love to push the ball in transition. and extend their defense and press. It is mandatory that we do a much better job of taking care of the basketball than we did last weekend at Tulane.”
Alabama, 7-3, led by as many as 17 points in the first half of its most recent game at Tulane last Saturday before a second-half Green Wave shooting barrage led them to a 15-point win. Navonda Moore, the team’s leading scorer, poured in 30 points in the loss, her second career 30-point performance, but the Tide committed 26 turnovers, including 17 in the second half.
The Crimson Tide’s series with Tech has included several notable games, including a loss to Louisiana Tech in the 1994 Final Four in Richmond, Va. The Lady Techsters also ended the Tide’s season in the 1998 NCAA Tournament. Alabama has won just once in 10 attempts against Tech in series history.
The game can be heard on the Crimson Tide Sports Network, with David Crane providing commentary.
Alabama returns to Coleman Coliseum for a pair of games prior to the Holiday break. The Tide welcomes Birmingham Southern to Tuscaloosa on Monday, Dec. 18 and hosts Belmont on Wednesday, Dec. 20. Both games are set to tip-off at 7 p.m.
