I've actually talked to Coach Sim about this series. He understands how big winning it would be for his team and for the fans. Expect to see a Bulldog baseball team ready to play. Also, expect to see some good promotions come for this. Tech wants to capitalize on a high attendance.
I hope we are talking about winning the WAC and going to Omaha. I am.
Not winning 40 games would be a disappointment for this season

We're going to score a lot of runs this season. Just hope we can slow the other teams down a little with our pitching. Would like to see us have the largest scoring margin in the WAC.
Arkansas will definitely come into Ruston with a lot of confidence in the team they have assembled.Their biggest strength is their pitching staff.Schmidt started out last season with two 6 inning no run,no hit outings. Tech put an end to the streak with 2 runs against him in hog country. Seibert was voted the top pitcher in the Cape Cod league this past summer. The Candyman and his buddies at Baum last year made us very unwelcome as fans.Let's hope they make the trip to Ruston so our team can return the favor by taking them down off their #4 ranking. They are already bragging that their fans will outnumber the Tech fans like they did 2 years ago. We can't let that happen......let's sell out those games so they have to watch from outside the Love shack. I can't wait..... 29 days and counting!!!!! GO DAWGS

Game #2 ( 3pm Saturday Feb 2nd) will be televised on CSTV.This will be the first ever Bulldog baseball game broadcast on TV from JC Love. Ask your cable company if you can add CSTV to your account......they broadcast a lot of games once the season get's rolling. Maybe they will show some interest in broadcasting more games involving WAC teams in the future. Right now they mostly cover the SEC,ACC & BIG 12. I'm sure Arkansas will be pitching their big Lefty ( Schmidt) in game #2. There should be a big crowd and a large tv viewing audience.
There are a lot of sports bars in Salem, OR. Surely one of them has CSTV.
