Didn't pay very close attention so I missed that Bascle (sp?) played catcher in the last two 3 innings. Sim said he's "never caught before." Surely that means never caught in a game before. Either way, that's impressive.
It was colder at today's game than at yesterday's game along with a slight breeze from outfield to infield.
We almost stayed with the two freshmen pitchers too long before bringing in Lorio to close the deal. Wow- Lorio is a BIG STRONG BULL on the mound!
Big play of the game (IMO) was again by a Tech centerfielder today. With the game tied UTA got on 1st base and put in a speed runner. He stole 2nd base and then UTA hit one deep to center field. Patrick Thomas fielded the ball deep and hurled it all the way to home plate. The Tech catcher fielded it and waited for the base runner for the tag out!!!!
Another amazing effort by the Tech players today to win the series!

Brady caught???? 1st time since 12 years old.......
Yes he did ODP. And did a great job at it! Lorio had a few in the dirt,... Brady just scooped em up like he's been catching every day.
Awesome! Way to go men.
