First game was a 7 inning...second was 9.

The danger in playing teams like UAPB is that it can throw some hitters timing off when they have to come back and face better velocity and pitching 1st game of a weekend series. Hopefully they will get some work towards end of week that will speed things up.
I'm sure you are correct, DH, and I don't say the following to argue with your point.
It just amazes me that we can go out and hit the ball like we did last night in this weather. The wind chill factor yesterday had to be near freezing. Too dang cold for baseball.
I hope all our kids stay healthy.
