    whats our best lineup?

the last lineup he used was:

    cf cobb
    lf rike
    rf jones
    dh hudson
    3b jones
    1b goulder
    2b grunenwald
    ss d. winn
    c combs

    - is that our best lineup?

what about k. winn at 2b and grunenwald at ss?

    - is their a better lineup against a RH starter?

    - what about against a LH starter?

i know catchers usually swap out more, so drew thomas will get some play. what about guys like bascle, bunting, kersten, p. thomas, maxwell. will any of them continue to be part time starters or will they eventually be backups/pinch hitters only?

leave dennis winn starting at ss. as long as grunenwald continues hitting, start him at 2b; otherwise maxwell and/or kevin winn are solid starters at 2b. there are so many guys that can fill in without missing a beat. it's a nice problem to have...

It seems Wade has done a pretty good job of mixing it up as he sees fit. I like that approach because it uses our more experienced players but gives the younger guys some playing time. What an advantage to have these guys become full time starters in the next couple of years with good Div. I experience under their belts! Besides--some of them have better stats than the guys in that latest lineup.

I don't think there necessarily has to be one particular starter at a position--it's whoever Wade thinks is right in any given situation on any given day. True--what a problem to have!
