There weren't a lot of call-ins during the time I was listening. It was an interesting show. Wade put on his interviewer hat, and asked questions of Hudson and Alsup on subjects such as: how do you handle being out of class so much during long road trips to the West coast,? how do you consistently give the team five or six innings in relief while not piling up a big pitch count?
Overall, Wade encouraged anyone with a tough question to call and ask that question. You could tell he and the players are not at all pleased with 13-8 and 1-2 to start the season, but Wade made some strong statements about how good he feels this team can be.
He said he still believes this team has as much or more talent than the Cajun team which went to Omaha. He said the difference is that the ULL team believed they were going to win every game. This team needs to get that kind of mentality.
