Isn't this the information age? Are live stats really this hard to maintain? What a mickey mouse operation.

Good job avoiding the sweep. Keep it rolling into next week!
Great jobs dawgs, comforting to see us hold somebody to two points again!
Have to be grateful to be 15-11 after a bad streak! A few losses are expected on the road, but gotta protect the Bulldogs' home field!

Maybe this will be the end of the slide. Gotta get a good streak going again.
In the bottom of the first, SHS hit a single to right field. Rike caught the ball on the first bounce and threw a strike to 1B and Goulder tagged the runner, who had made a turn at the base.
He also hit his 12th HR.
We outscored Sam Houston State 17-16, outhit them 33-29, and had 3 errors to their 5 errors. The difference was our pitching vs theirs. When we get our top 8 pitchers firing on all cylinders consistantly we will win a high % of the remaining games. We are producing plenty of offense to win every game....just need our pitching staff perfoming as they are well capable of. Moseley & Braud pitched a gem on Sunday to get us rolling. GO DAWGS !!!!
I think the past few weeks has "tempered" us as fans and hopefully the team as well -
It's hard to go from 17 wins to 40+ wins in two seasons as long as this program has been down -
This team the last few years has been very streaky - could win 7 to 9 in a row and then lose the next 7 out of 8 or 5 out of 6 -
When this team LEARNS to win 2 of 3 or 4 of 6 in a consistent fashion, its no telling what they might do -
Got to cut down on walks - we seem to be playing better defense the last few ballgames, but walks are still hurting us -
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
Out of all the stats, IMO walks are the most harmful to a team. When you walk 5plus batters you seem to have more errors, mental errors, passed balls etc. This weekend gm1 Tech 5 walks,SHS 3 we lose;gm2 Tech 7 walks,SHS 1 we lose; gm3 Tech 1 walk, SHS 5, we win.
