    Baseball Re: way to baseball

GO DAWGS !!!!! Our record after 28 games last season was 16-12, so at 17-11 and our season slump behind us we still can have an outstanding season. The team can use the nex't 10 days (no games scheduled) to nurse their wounds & minor injuries . This has been a crazy schedule. I think we may have played more games than other division 1 schools at this point. It sure was great that for the Lamar doubleheader our pitchers drastically cut back on walks & hit batters. It was great to see Albie Goulder have a breakout performance and jump his batting average from .280 to .322.Kudo's to coach Sim for all the calls for bunts, hit & run,and steals.I think everyone is on the same page now so I look forward to a great stretch run.

Not sure, but Sim took the bat out of his hands...that made me wonder if everything was alright.

i had heard last week that he had some kind of leg injury, maybe hamstring? Must not be real serious since he was the starting pitcher and dh yesterday in game 1.
