Tech salvages the series, but 3-3 is not the WAC start Tech needed. A sweep at home in two weeks against New Mexico State is almost a must now with 12 of the last 15 WAC games on the road.
RC you are so right. Tech needs to get to 17- 7 in the WAC. That means a finish of 14 - 4 and will be next to impossible without sweeping NMSt. Not gettin 2 out of 3 from Sac St. is hole I hope we can overcome.

I still say this team needs to just take one game at a time and worry about HAVING a winning season in conference -

Folks are missing something special by not catching Rike - who is just super HOT right now -
And having Jericho behind Rike does help Rike - he is getting alot of quality looks and to his credit he is taking advantage of the looks -
Took 2 out of 3 from a very solid team this weekend - they had the best looking defense up the middle that I have seen this year - both their SS & 2nd baseman got to balls that most guys would have just whiffed at - it is kind of ironic that the play that turned today's game was on a routine DP ball -
Key to the last TWO games was not putting men on base via free passes -
Keep the walks to a minimum and most times, this team will score enough to win 2 out of 3 on most weekends -
