LaTech is 15 - 2 when scoring 8 or more runs. We are 4 - 10 when scoring 7 or fewer runs.

LaTech is 13 - 5 when committing 0 or 1 error. We are 6 - 7 when committing 2 or more errors.

LaTech is 15 - 2 when leading after 6 innings.

LaTech is 10 - 3 when scoring first.

LaTech is 14 - 7 in day games. We are 5 - 5 in night games.

The first stat is the most telling. We HAVE to score a lot of runs to win because our pitching hasn't been what it needs to be to win it all.

I hope Sims can get the pitching right, because we certainly have the offense.

It's not just the pitching...a lot of errors have fallen on the rest of the defense (mainly infield) as well.

It is both. Walks and HBP put added pressure on the defense and Errors put added pressure on the pitchers. They BOTH need to improve.

Looks like we need to play during the day, score first, lead after 6 innings, score 8 runs and commit 1 error and we could 15-0 the rest of the way.
