I have a Hippo 18 degree Utility club. I haven't found out how far I hit it yet, but it's nice to use when your in a bad lie and need to get out of trouble (a place that I'm very familiar with).

Yeah I would feel too bad about hitting anything that put me on the short grass. A lot of tour players are carrying hybrids now.

What's your price range?? Are you a drawer, slicer, straight??
Doc -- low and straight. Not much power. I'm more of a finesse player, so I don't need some huge monstrocity that's going to mess up my stroke. Just looking to get it off the tee, and get it on the green at over 200+ yards; no need to crank the hell out of it.

I've had a set of off-brand clubs for years and finally decided to start upgrading. I've got a Callaway 454cc Big Bertha, great distance and very forgiving. I've also got a 14 & a 20 deg. Callaway Heaven Wood. These are great clubs for replacing your low irons or fairway woods.

Sounds like something that would really help my game. I can't hit long irons worth sh&t.

Humm... can't say I know alot about the types of clubs for you. Dwayne's been getting on me for a year now about getting a straight driver instead of my long curvy one. :icon_wink:

Here are some things on clearance at TGW. http://www.tgw.com/customer/search2....N&a1091=driver

Well look at the brightside. You get more swings in 6 holes then I get in a hole day! Never seen anyone else break 100 in just 9 holes before you.

i guarentee you that i could, thats why i limit myself to a 9 on each hole. 81 is the worst i can do in 9 holes, and believe me, i have shot in the 70s before. a lot.
