DAWGS WIN 7-2 !!!! Rike pitches the 9th....FO,BB,K,GO....When our pitching is good we will win and tonight it was a much better outing for Luke....hope his confidence level skyrockets !!!! Can anyone cofirm that the 1st game of the doubleheader tomorrow has been moved up to 12:00 noon? Please post

tech won cuz they played a team very inferior, they better win both tomorrow. It's good that teams like this are put in the schedule so they can boost their confidence. Don't understand why when you have so many other pitchers why coach would pitch rike.......would think he would be using one of them?

3. Rike has closed several games in the past...so why not? Maybe Sim didn't want to burn out Lorio so he could use him tomorrow...the list could go on and on and on and on and on

Luke had several K's. That tells me that he was throwing some heat. If you have a pitcher with heat burning batters then you want to bring in pitchers that can throw heat as well. If I heard right, Rike hits 90+ mph. You also want to put him out there to see what he can do.


Also keep in mind that you may have a double header tomorrow. Anytime that you can give the bullpen a break, then you do it. Who would you have liked to see come into the game??

Dallas Baptist has swept Northwestern St @ NSU (we lost 8-5), beat UT-Arlington (we took 2 of 3), beat New Mexico State (we play next weekend), swept Toledo (we split) and split games with Fresno (we took 2 of 3).

This is a better team the you are giving them credit for. I will say that I think that we have more TALENT and more POTENTIAL, but we aren't a GREAT team....... yet. :icon_wink:
