Yeah, but unlike us, they are traditionally considered a power from the WAC. Last year was considered a fluke for Fresno whereas for us it wasn't surprising. No one can convince me that if Tech were going to, and winning, a bowl every year, that the WAC would keep us off of t.v.Originally Posted by killerdawg
If you look at the FSU games they are only getting air time when playing a bigger team (Boise or Kansas State). Only 2 of those games don't feature Boise and/or Hawaii that's all the WAC is right now to national media.
I usually get at least five Tech games a year on the tube. Hope this year is no different.

Different angle.....but how can Boise get a home game with Southern Miss and we can't get a game with SM anywhere??????????
USM's AD was never at Idaho...if he had, BSU probably couldn't get a game either.

Because if Tech beats USM we will take even more high school recruits from them. Same for Tulane, Houston, Rice, SMU, Tulsa, and Memphis. Blame Oakes if it makes you feel better, but NONE of these schools want to schedule Tech, because of the perceived recruiting advantage they have being in a regional conference instead of a Western USA conference.
