We have given the Baseball Team over $2,700 in funds raised since the start of the campaign -

We also raised enough to pay for the sponsorship of the coach's show again this year - $480....

So we are over $3,200 on behalf of baseball....

I have only been here for almost two years now but it seems we have collected quite a bit of money for different sports and organizations. It would be intersting to know how much money BB&B has given to everything by year. Or even a "Since 199_ BB&B has donated over $XXX to different organizations on campus and around Ruston." Heck, what would be really cool is to have a running total on the front page of BB&B. That would tell alot as to who we are as a board.

That's a really good idea.

I would like to add that something like this would only be able to track DIRECT donations given to TECH. I can't speak for everyone, but for myself there would be ZERO chance of me joining CHAMPS, ZERO chance at having baseball and basketball season tickets, and only a minimal chance at football season tickets; all of which i have or have committed to. Merchandise could be another addition. 2 years ago before refinding this board, I owned 3 TECH shirts; 2 from my BoP days, and one other was that was faded and torn. I know own about 18 shirts and hats. This board has it's ups and downs, but is one of the best things in my life the last few years; except for DirtyDawg. :icon_wink:
