As far as Jackie Robinson Day, it is a bigger deal than most make of it. 8 years before Parks, nealry 11 years be for MLK. I am proud to have been part of the celebration yesterday.

That is such a load of crap from Hank's part. He is known as the home run king, so he cant say he doesnt want to be known for one record because its one of the most important records in all of sport. If he can freely talk about the racism he encountered to get the record he should be able to answer the question of why he will refuse to attend any games where Barry can take his record away.

They drove their leased vans back to San Fransisco and flew out to Oahu from there. It must be rough having to find something to do in Hawaii until they play on Friday night Incidently......is everyone planning to watch the Hawaii games that will be streamed on WACtv for $6.95/ game? The catch is that the Friday & Saturday games start at 11:30 PM central time....and the Sunday game starts at 6:00 PM CT. You can test your computer on the WACtv site by trying to run the sample video.My computers' processor and lack of ram isn't enough to run the video so it comes out looking more like a slide show . I guess my brother will let me view the games on his computer.

I agree that we should leave everything as it is; in the starting rotation at this time.

I will disagree with giving Lorio a start at this. It is NO disrespect towards him, but he has a chance to be a DOMINANT closer; TECH's own Jon Papelbon. He also uses his HARD fastball to get ahead of batters. The second and third time around a lineup, it gets easier and easier to hit.
