Rivals.com College Baseball has Louisiana Tech representing the WAC in the 64-team regional tournament at the Long Beach State host site...they also have ULL projected as a #1 seed (except not hosting), and also Tulane and LSU as #3 seeds...would be pretty amazing to see four teams out of Louisiana make the tourney
1. Long Beach State
4. Louisiana Tech*
2. San Diego
3. UCLA
They must be on crack. ULL is not in the Top 25 anymore in some polls and get a 1 seed? Tulane still in the Top 25 and a 3 seed. LSU, who is awful with a 3 seed? Louisiana Tech in the western regional?

Don't be shocked if we ARE in the Western regional. But you know what? I don't care if we are in the Alaskan Regional. If we are back in the post season I am gonna be happy.
Doesn't regional mean that you play at a site in your schools' general region of the country? That way the fans can attend and only the hosting team has the non-travel advantage. I guess that is wishfull thinking.

I think that really only applies to those with higher seeds. The lower seeds are just happy to be there. Wherever there is.
LSU will be lucky to make the tourney at their current pace...only beating out auburn for the bottom dwellers in the SEC.
They'll be fortunate if they make the SEC tourney...much less the NCAA tourney...still a lot of baseball to be played though...
if you're a 4 seed, you are just happy to be there, whether you're going to miami, fla.; corvallis, ore.; or anywhere in between.

I'm happy that these projections are including Tech, they recognize that we're doing well...but theres a lot of baseball left. Hopefully Sims and the boys will keep on fighting.
Just win the conference tourney. that's what it takes to get to the post season.
