That's great for RR Parish. That parish is so low on the economic scale it can use all the help it can get. The recent location of Tango's new truck depot in Coushatta has helped, but this project should pump big buck$ into the depleted Red River coffers.

At one time Red River was one of a few parishes that assessed property taxes on movable properties, like trucks and other equipment. The parish had not been enforcing that rule until it got a new tax assessor in the mid-90's. It took ONE increased tax bill to drive out several companies, who quickly shut down their Red River operations and moved them to other parishes. I don't know if Tango is paying that hefty tax bill on all those trucks, or not.
