What: Louisiana Tech Day at the Arkansas Travelers

When: Saturday, June 23, 2007
Pre-Game Picnic 6:10 p.m.
First Pitch 7:10 p.m.

Where: Dickey-Stephens Park
Pre-game picnic - Club Car Picnic Area inside
Dickey-Stephens Park

Cost: $16 per person, includes game ticket and pre-game picnic.
Children under 2 are free.

Menu: Classic backyard burger and hot-dog buffet, with beans, chips,
popcorn, appropriate condiments and unlimited soft drinks.

Went to the Travs game this weekend...we lost but had a wonderful time at the new ball park. Beer prices aren't bad: $3.50 for 24oz Miller...and $4 for Fat Tire. Really affordable, six dollar general admission tickets and a 50 cent trolly ride to the game.

that is great. I am used to Florida Marlins prices. $18 for upper deck seats where you can't see squat...so I pony up the $26 for crummy lower bowl seats. $10 for parking (no trolly to those games). $8 for a 24 oz bud light.


and people wonder why nobody goes to the Marlins games. i go to about 1 a year. with prices like what you said for the Travs (and good beer for cheep) i may be a regular there.

I'm a regular now...it's a fun laid back environment....love the addition of a covered picnic area...beer garden and 8-9 concessions, suites, and a party deck...also they added a gift shop. It has an old school feel with modern amenities. Hopefully we'll have a large group for the Tech night.
