    Nevada Wins WAC Men's Golf Championship-WACSports.com

    A new article has been posted on www.wacsports.com:

    Nevada held on to win the 2007 Wells Fargo WAC Championship at the par 72, 7,269 yard Hidden Valley Country Club. The Wolf Pack won the championship by one stroke after carding an 18 over, 306 for the highest team round of the blustery final day.

    It was rough out here today. Eveyone was thinking that we had missed the weather pattern heading for us last night. About 9am the weather was cruel, temps dropped to about 45 with 20+ gusts sometimes 30.

    I thought Tech was about to make a bg run at 3 under through 6 but weather usually beats everyone. Nevada shot 18 over and this is what they practice in 4 months a year.
