Many people are saying this latest invasion is funded by Soros, and that's likely to be true. I also heard that the last major "caravan" occurred during the 2016 primaries....But I don't remember that. Maybe it did.
Clearly, this "caravan" (really an invasion by a foreign force) just suddenly started. Why now, if not to try to influence the 2018 midterms? Why not 6 months ago, or why not after the midterms? Awful coincidental for this "caravan" (clearly well-funded) to have started on its own, spontaneously, a few weeks from the midterms. Of course, those who are cheering it on, and rooting for it to help the dems, are finding out it's also motivating Repub voters too.
It's also very clear that someone is on the ground in Honduras, and other countries, organizing these things. I refuse to believe that all of sudden, thousands of people all decide to invade the US at the same time.

I’m trying to think about this in a rational manner. Maybe someone can help me see what I’m apparently not seeing. How could this wave of immigrants marching this way possibly help the democrats? If anything, it seems like it fires up the Trump people more and makes the “Build The Wall” resonate with more people who may be on the fence. Why would Soros or whatever liberal want such a thing to happen so close to a crucial mid term? It doesn’t make sense to me.
The last time the mob was marching this way many conservatives fell for the socialist mantra and especially the separation children from their parents BS. The socialist democrats are arrogant enough to believe it will work again.

Unfortunately the right wing of the country has fallen prey to a White House and alt-right propaganda machine that pumps out lies that are designed to sew division on a daily basis. This is the real legacy of Trump.
I guess so, maybe, but it seems like it would be a wash because you know it’s gonna fire up the Trump base in a big way. What is interesting to me is how that many people can travel that far by foot through several foreign countries without any difficulty. They have to be aided by someone. It’s a long walk from Guatemala to the US border.
I hope Trump puts the military on the border, but I doubt it will happen. And even if troops are deployed....then what? Geraldo was going nutso last night screaming, "will the military machine gun them down!?" I was screaming back at the TV, "only after issuing a warning to turn back!"
In fact, I am such a good humanitarian, I am in favor of issuing warnings now....because 90% of these invaders are carrying the very latest smartphones, and would get the message. And! I am okay with there being loud speakers and having warnings issued....in Spanish!...to turn back, at the border. I don't think these invaders deserve any of this consideration. They are belligerent invaders and should be utterly destroyed, by our military. But, we are too good for our own good...so issue warnings, first.

Keep in mind that the socialist mob does not really believe Trump has a base. All you have to do is watch, listen, or read what they spew.
I don't feel like I hear arguments against it's practicality though. It's all "build bridges, not walls", "it sends a bad message", or just "it's racist" etc. Arguments that it will not work or would be too expensive seem like an afterthought.
Illegal immigration is a serious problem and it costs us a lot of money. I also believe having an unsecured border prevents us from seriously addressing immigration reform.
There is no doubt that the socialist want open borders now. I challenge anybody to find a socialist talking head who has spoken out for anything other than open borders since January of 2016. This is how far left the democrats have gone. Open borders is what they want and need for a larger voting block.
Roughly how many miles would you say these people are walking? 1600? 2000? And how does 5000 people all at once decide “Hey, let’s walk to America!” It takes a formulated supply line to feed a group of people like that moving across the country. Somebody has to be helping them, that much is clear to me. I just can’t figure out what the end game is.
