Louisiana Tech takes slugfest in Nevada, 11-10 - Shreveport Times

I have never attended a game with more rude, obnoxious people as Nevada fans were. The catcher had a clean tag on thomas but chose not only to apply the tag but to head butt him in the face with his catchers mask on.......thats why he got tossed from the game. They were ok friday and saturday, but when faced with a loss they resorted to dirty unsportsmanlike conduct. The first baseman got tossed when he objected to the call after he was obviously off base when he got the ball but the tech player was there. Fortunately the calls went the way for Tech and nevada couldn't handle it

Why was the catcher tossed? I guess its possible but its hard to imagine getting tagged by a glove could bust someones jaw up, must have been a pretty hard tag.

That's what we get for trying to steal home three times in a row.The Nevada fans were whipped into a frenzy. Imagine the nerve of us. Just go ahead and do anything you want to the next guy that tries that, Schmidt. They'll have it coming. Rules of baseball be damned.
