Well, I have waited to post this info until after we knew if it is a girl or boy.

It's a girl!
After seven years of marriage Amy and I will be having our first child in October. We found out Monday that it is a girl and we are very excited...er scared. I thought I would worn all my BB&B tailgate buddies and The Dawg Pound that this year will be a little strange. Amy has always been......how should I say......vocal (you know what I mean). But this year, if she shows up, she will be 8+ months pregnant. So take your warning now.

I can see it now. Amy, eight months pregnant with a hotdog in one hand and a bucket of popcorn in the other screaming "EAT HIS FACE!" And telling The Dawg Pound to SIT DOWN so she can see the field.

Anyway, I would like ya'lls help with some girl names. So please post some for us.

I wanted "Little Techster" for my daughter and "Nolan Ryan" for my son but my wife wouldn't go for either name. I doubt your wife will like any of the names suggested on this forum.

Congratulations! Don't worry there should be plenty of female support in the pound this year as my new bride is really looking forward to the season. I have two boys of my own, Shellys oldest is also estrogen challenged, however the one girl we have makes bringing up three boys seem like a year at the beach. Good luck and God speed, Oh and if I had another girl she would be named Anna Elizabeth.

But we did compromise and I got Ryan as the middle name.

Looks like Mrs. Dawgbitten will be due around the same time. We don't know what the sex is yet. We are pretty certain it is human and everything is normal.

I have got to learn to plan these things better...or just plan. She is due Oct. 18. However, I do have a pass to the lsu game because it will be nearby and after the egg has hatched.
