who here is a first nighter?
Gavin, my family and I are going to go see it in Orlando on Friday! Cannot wait!!!
Dissapointed in Shrek 3. Pirates 3 will be the best movie EVER....dont try to convince me otherwise EVER. YES I did like Pirates 2. Wont be seeing this one at midnight like the last one or Spiderman 3. It hurts to get up and go to work that morning!
As weak as #2 was, I don't think it falls into the "be there for the first show" class. If I were going to do that for a show this summer, it would have been Spiderman. We'll see it -- probably while on vacation so we have free baby sitting from the grandparents.
The new Bourne movie interests me more than Pirates as well -- though I am hoping they bounce back and make something closer to the first one this time. (this was a reference to Pirates, not Bourne BTW)

Did see the 3rd Pirates yesterday. If you thought #2 was good, you'll probably like this one as well. Technically, it's really one movie anyway, there's no real legitimate breakpoint between the two movies--they just ran out of time.
Not a bad movie, probably worth the matinee admission I paid for it. Still not nearly as good as the original, though.
Disagree saw it yesterday and thought it was every bit as good as #1. I liked 2 as well. I could really just watch The character of Jack Sparrow, If anyone was born to play a role it was Johnny Depp for this. A little long and to many stoylines but overall two very big thumbs up. Better than Shrek and Spiderman IMO!
TOO DAMNED LONG!
I'm an asshole! What's your excuse?
I will agree it was rather long, but still just as good as 1 and 2. I agree that's all pretty much one movie. It seemed like with 2, they tried to overdo the visual effects (kinda like SW, episode I), but with 3, i feel they did a great job, but just a little too long.
Watched a thing on the History Channel last nite concerning Star Wars and its effect on the world 30 years later -
It's ties to religion, the Greek tragdies, etc....
Very well done -
People will still be talking about Star Wars and its affect 100 years from now - I doubt they will be talking about Pirates 20 years from now - unless its in the same vein as "Rocky Horror Picture Show..."
