A new article has been posted on the Shreveport Times:
Conference tournaments begin this weekend, extending the baseball season for a few fortunate teams.Two teams with local interest, Louisiana Tech and Centenary, advanced to their respective league tournaments, the Western Athletic and Mid-Continent. Across the state, Tulane is bound for the Conference USA Tournament and McNeese State is headed to the Southland's.

So its a down year because LSWho didn't make the SEC tourney but not a down year when LaTech fails to make the WAC tourney?

This article just pissed me off. I wish this was a down year for us! Instead of saying LSU is having a down year while the rest of the state succeeds, they drag us down with them. At least they mention in the article that we and centenary are having a good year, but doesn't that contradict the title of the piece?
