Female Football - Shreveport Aftershock

I had never heard of this team until I stumbled across this article on the Times website. Has anybody seen them play?

Personally, I like Bikini Bowl better, but that's just me.

Stray - We saw some of the Shockers walking around at the Sports baseball game last night. Big, burly, etc. I haven't actually seen them play, but I have seen some clips on the news. Very clumsy imitation of football. This morning's paper said "This is not Powder Puff Football." I wish it was. I think they would draw a lot more than the 60 or 70 fans that they do now.

Someone really missed an opportunity with the name. Instead of Shreveport Aftershock, wouldn't it be more appropriate if the team name was Shreveport Toxicshock? Just wondering....:icon_wink:

i had a friend (former techster) play on the Dallas womens team. I would compare it to some decent high school football. It was pretty entertaining.
