    The Louisiana Tech foursome of Nina Gilbert, former Northwood star Kamelia Stroy, Miriam Barnes and Latonia Wilson finished third in the women's 1,600-meter relay Saturday at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Sacramento, Calif.

    These young women and their coaches have accomplished amazing things in the circumstances they have to work in.

    Not since the great Rickie Stubs running the high hurdles in the 70's has Tech track made such a national splash. Considering it takes four talented hard working student athletics to accomplish this, it is truly amazing.
