Dems bring up race too much. There are people who don't like a black man being president, but there are far more who don't like a socialist dictator-wannabe being president. That's a much more important national discussion to have than race.

I don't know whether Democrats bring race into the discussion too often or not--that's touch to measure. That said, I agree President Obama has placed too much emphasis on his detractors' focus on race. It's beyond time for him to acknowledge that his policies and programs are the real problems.Originally Posted by T1

Obama is a "master of deception" for most of the low information folks in our country and the world. But again, why even bring race up except for the political advantage he perceives?
The only thing I disagree with is "maybe some white folks" give him a pass. Maybe????? The white guilt liberals would still love Obama if he sold us into slavery to the Chinese.

Wasn't this a private conversation that someone overhead and was apparently compelled to talk about it? Great Scott, it's 1984. The government has eyes and ears everywhere and we are losing or have lost our right to privacy. THAT is the news story.
Not from the way I read it. He was at a restaurant being loud about it from what witnesses say. If that is the case, it is a lot different than a private conversation.

Ignorant and loud often go hand in hand. As do stupid and stubborn. In my opinion, a public figure's private views are relevant, particularly when he or she chooses to spew them.
Yep, and another point to make is that he wasn't remorseful in the use of that word and "double-downed" on what he said.
