I didn't realize it's the 50th anniversary of her winning Wimbledon. I think this writer does a great job of making a case on how big a travesty it is that those at Wimbledon have done nothing to commemorate it. But then again, maybe it's only news in America when a minority has done something special. Maybe, to the Britons, it's not special at all but just another player from another country who won the tournament. Afterall, the only place that mistreatment of blacks is an issue is the U.S. isn't it. Is this an issue of someone taking an American problem and trying to make it global?
