Prayers Dirty.
Hey Dirty, what was that Doc's name.....things have been pretty slow here around the house lately.
Hope to see you in Ruston before long.
Get well DD. Let s know what we can do for you.
And did the Dr. like the roses and find/read the card?
Dirty, Dirty, Dirty!! Mistake #1 was going to one of our fraternity brothers as your doctor. Mistake #2 was not asking how the doctor was holding that thermometer with both of his hands on your shoulders. In all seriousness though I wish you a speedy recovery. On a similar note I busted my leg up pretty good a couple of years ago and the doc insisted on staying off of it for at least two weeks and said I would need physical therapy, ect.. I was back at my store hobbling around two days later and didn't ever get the rehab although I am regretting that a little now. When you own your own business you have to be twice as tough and I know you can handle it.:icon_wink: I'll see you at "The Joe" soon. Ross

Well ladies and gents....please continue your prayers for Todd. He went to Earl K Long, since we are without insurance at the time, to schedule a series of tests to be run since his white blood cell count came back still high when he went for a check up at the doctor yesterday.
Long story short....the doctor at Earl K JUST called to let me know that they are running all the tests today! Thank goodness he didn't have to go sit down there and wait for hours just to schedule an appt to have the tests run.
The doctor said that no results would be known today, and that Todd has to be there still for another 2-4 hours to finish the testing (he's been there since around 11am this morning). However, the doctor did say that there are some abnormalities, just not sure what is wrong.
Please continue to lift us up in your prayers. I am a nervous wreck as Todd is as well with everything that is going on, i.e. selling the business and his health. Yesterday was very emotional as we got the results that his high blood cell count was still high.
I often ask why, but I still know that we have our Saviour on our side and that HE does NOT give us more that we can handle. I just don't know how to handle it anymore and am constantly leaning on Him, the One that saved me, to guide me through this time.
Thank you all for your prayers! We love you all!

My thoughts and prayers are with Todd, you, and all of your family. Please let me know if I can do anything to help.
Well, the unofficial results are in. The doctor said all I need is for Tech to have 4 or 5 winning seasons in a row, with a couple of bowl victories thrown in for good measure. Also, a couple of NCAA tourney appearances will further fortify my constitution. To top off for good measure, a 10 page pictorial in Playboy of the Girls of Tech would be an extra benefit and give my heart a much needed workout.
This is what happens when a bunch of guys (and girls) pray for you while they are on Bulldawgs, Barks, & Bytes. You can blame me on the 10 page pictorial thing....I was on the Best Thread Ever II when I prayed for you.
The TECH Family is praying for you.

So very true, Sooner. In all honestly, Tulsa, all the results aren't in yet. There are still some blood test results that I'm hoping we get next week as they had to send them off to be tested. Plus another couple of things to be done before my doctor decides if we need to do a marrow test. Either way, it's all going to be ok. The promising thing is that my white blood cell count came down a little after I was on an anti-biotic for a week, so it really looks like some sort of infection they just haven't been able to find yet. However, it has stayed at the same elevated level for the past week or so. So, it's just a test and see game at this point. As guiss said on another thread-that's why they call it "practicing" medicine. I mean, think about it. Does anyone really expect them to find something related to me that's easily diagnosed?
