Interesting article, lots of great stats. Yes, our team will be young, and inexperienced (for the most part), but this is now Long's team. All of the recruits from last year and this year are much-heralded (even if only by Tech fans). I expect, and think we all should, for there to be great strides made in the pre-season.
I, for one, will not accept excuses of youth and inexperience. This team, if as good on court as they are on paper, should be a winning team. I will also not accept the argument of freshmen needing time to develop as that is old school thinking. Freshmen are playing and having immediate impacts at other high-profile wbb schools, and they MUST have that same impact at Tech.
That said, I'm hoping for a great season, with a return to the national stage for our wbb program.
