.. . . . was not on the 50. we are starting to do things of a D-1 college and not a single A high school. The Greek letters were also not there. I have a feeling that Dooley had something to do w/ this. The band needs to stay where they are, right next to the visitor's section.

However, all the students and rowdy fans need to move down there too so we can get JAS rocking again.
I'm sure it will happen, it'll just take some time for everyone to get back on the same page.
If you don't them on the fifty, you find a better place that the 20. From the 50, I couldn't hear a thing. We didn't have ANY consistancy on ANY cheers. We couldn't hear a damn thing.
I could barely hear them from the 50. And there was virtually no interaction between the band and the students & cheerleaders. The middle section between the 40s was mostly UCA fans so most Tech students were at the opposite end from the band. I think the arrangement killed the enthusiasm we've had in the past. There's got to be a better way.

How do almost all other 1A schools have enthusiasm and cheers and spirit without the band on the 50?
That is the question Tech fans should be asking.
But I do think having them next to the visitors section in lame. So why not move the visitor section?

Nope, I'm trying to figure out how we could only manage about 70 against a Southland conference team. Hell Hogdawg could have thrown for more yardage!!
Hell, my mother could have thrown for more than 70 yds against a Div II school. (Let's not kid ourselves. UCA is really a Div II school with only one year of Div 1AA recruiting under it's belt.)

I don't care where we put the band, but visitors and their band should be in the furthest north part of the stadium- period! And this is something that pre-dates Jim Oakes, the WAC, and Dan Reneau as Tech's president. Move the visitors as close to the parking lot as possible!
Nah, move the visitors to the West side where UCA had their band or on the West side only FAR North lik DW just said. There are alot of simple answers Blue.
I got a question...
What would the WAC do if we refused to obey their rule about the visitors bench being behind the student section? Do we officially have a "student" section? Did the WAC say that the visitors bench can't be in front of general admission? I say we tell Benson to deal with it. If he wants to punish Fresno, he should punish Fresno...
