I am not clear about the rules here.
Since Louisiana Tech has not started School, I suppose Auburn has, could Auburn do a waiver and allow him to play at Tech this year. Or is pretty much next year?
yeah, but being in arkansas, you know burns was a big time recruit

NO way in hell he beats out Kodi Burns....He is the real deal. If Cox goes down burns will take over for the rest of the year.
Burns will be the best QB Auburn has had in a LONG time!!
If Ensminger wouldn't see the field at Auburn then why did Tubs sound so reluctant for him to go? Or his parents for that matter? Surely they would jump at any school where he could play vs. a place he'd never play.
Oh, well clearly he was a total scrub since he was 3rd, 4th, whatever at Auburn?
There are a TON of 3rd stringers in the SEC, Big12, PAC10 (uhh USC), etc. that can flat out PLAY.
Don't beat this kid up for no reason...how 'bout we get excited that this kid WANTS to be here????

Are ya'll sure there's nothing that can be done to get him playing this year, any loopholes? We may need him. He must be decent to get a look from a SEC school.
Although it may be unethical to let him walk in and play, but we could use the help. I would feel bad for Champion b/c he's worked for QB1 through the spring and summer workouts. After this past weekend, I know it's up in the air, but it's Zac's job to lose.
I saw him play every home game and in the state championship game in 05. The kid's got a good arm (at least then) and a pretty good touch. There was one play early in the season where he threw around a 30-35 yd pass down field. The receiver was in full stride down the sidelines and Ensminger put it in front of the receiver. The receiver put his left hand out and caught the ball and pulled it in, never breaking stride and proceeded to score on the play. No way the defender could have knocked it down short of interference. As beautiful a throw and catch as you could ask for (something I didn't see from Tech on Saturday!). Give him a little time and he'll pick you apart. No Rattay or McCown but could turn out to be pretty good QB. Just my opinion.
