you must have missed DCI Live in Shreveport...
Ummm..... what you talkin about Willis??
I think ESPN 2 has been showing it for the last few years now.
Well crap. If you are notified of another event like this, can you post it here, or e-mail me?? I would have LOVED to go to this.
Also I wanna watch the NSU band competition.... know when it is??

Also, DCI Live is held every year during quarterfinals. Tinseltown in Shreveport has carried it the last few years. (Unlimited refills on drinks and popcorn!) We (we being Masquerade Drum and Bugle Corps) are going to try and convince the theater in Ruston to also carry the simulcast next year. If you, or anyone else for that matter, are still interested in marching, please check us out at http://www.maskdrum.org/.
The BEST show out there is right down the road from Tech..Grambling. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY gets down like they do. It's worth going to their homecoming just for the show. I've been to one and had a ball. there's a group of us old, white dudes from Shreveport that go together. It's a really good time and they are super-cool to us at the game. The DCI was impressive though. I just happened to catch it while channel surfing.
“Towie Barclay of the Glen, Happy to the maids, But never to the men.”
just apples and oranges
which is why there are many many ways to do it; cuz there are many many different preferences...
it is just nice when folks learn to appreciate it all (whether it is their favorite or not)
And a BoP member the last 3 years and a Tech student was a member of the Cadets.
Was a member of the Cadets--meaning was marching in the show last night if that wasn't clear.
the BOP has had quite a few members in DCI
also have a freshman that marched with the Troopers
a member that made the Crossmen, but decided to travel oversees instead
just to name a few
even some of us oldies marched
Phantom, Spirit, Madison, Pioneer, VK...all have had BOP members in the past.
