We yell it out for a reason," Grice-Mullins said. "We believe in it. It helped us tonight. We were losing. The crowd was rocking so loud we couldn't hear anything on the field.

We yell it out for a reason," Grice-Mullins said. "We believe in it. It helped us tonight. We were losing. The crowd was rocking so loud we couldn't hear anything on the field. But we believed in each other, we made plays and we won. And we can still yell out 'WAC champs.'
all the way to the bottom
I left nothing on the table. My hands, throat, and feet still hurt. Everyone else is going to have to step it up for the rest of the home games, because I don't think I will be able to catch another this year.
Jordan Mills on choosing Tech:
“It’s a great experience seeing them play. It was a good atmosphere. The fans stood up the whole game and never sat down. They have a great fan base.”
Yelling yourself hoarse is the only way to go! Also the elbow is sore from all the first down cheers, high fives, and kickoffs.
Those cowbells sure saved your voice. What happened to all those bells and matracas we had in 2001?
My lips are sore from blowing one of those plastic horns all night. It's been a long time since I played a horn regulary, and I'm out of shape. For big games like that one, we should have venders walking through the stands selling noisemakers.
Speaking of, who knows the best place to get a bunch of cowbells? I'm hoping that if I give some away to some people I know on the West side, we can be even louder in these games.
They would probably help save my voice a little as well. I tried to place an order at Canes yesterday before heading out of town, and I had to try 3 or 4 times before they had any idea what I was trying to order. Well -- I probably would still not have a voice the day after a game even if I had the cowbells, but yelling AND cowbells could make a lot more noise.
Folks THAT WAS COLLEGE FOOTBALL.
The EAST SIDE WAS ROCKING, THE WEST SIDE WAS ROCKING....YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!!
I HAVE NEVER BEEN PROUDER LEAVING THAT STADIUM, THAN I WAS SATURDAY NIGHT!
THE PLAYERS GAVE THEIR ALL AND SO DID THE FANS!!!
I stopped bringing mine because no one else did and I got such crazy looks. But, it sure beats being hoarse. One word of caution, for the women (and I have to believe somewhere out there are women fans besides Vette and me) the large cowbells are heavy to swing all night. The small or medium are just right.
