Please say some prayers for my Mom and my cousin. My mom just called me from the hospital where she's been staying with my uncle, her youngest brother. He's been having some health problems and they were going to remove his gall bladder and then check his pancreas for cancer. Well, the doctor just told her that they can't operate on him because he wouldn't handle the surgery and he's already started into congestive heart failure. So, they've started him on morphine already and don't expect him to make it to the end of the week. Mom has signed a do not resuscitate order. He's never been married and has no kids, but the reason I ask for prayers for my cousin is because he was her parrin and basically her father. In fact, her two sons called him pawpaw until they got old enough to realize that he was in fact their great uncle. She's going to take this very hard as her mom died about 10 years ago of pancreatic cancer, so she has no parental figure left in her life. She's only 42. Anyway, my mom has seen a younger sister, and older brother die of cancer and now a younger brother. This was a good, good man. No one had anything bad to say about him. He was my favorite, and most of the kids', favorite uncle.
