Dear Abby,
I have never written to an advice columnist before, but I have a
problem I really need your help on.
For some time now I have suspected that my wife has been cheating
on me. I have no real proof, but
there are some tell tail signs. It has become common that her phone
will ring and when I pick it up the caller will hang up.
She is going out at night more often, claiming that she is with her
friends. She always comes home late, as I have to be at work early I
can't seem to stay up that late. When I ask who she is out with she
says that they are friends from work. She gives no names, just says
that I don't know them. I have tried to catch her but have not had
much luck.
The other night I decided to stay up and try to get to the bottom
of it. About 12:30 the other night I saw her driving down our street
to come home.
I went out to the garage and crouched in the corner behind all my
fishing tackle, to see what she did as she got home.
She pulled into the garage, and got out of the car, her blouse was
unbuttoned more then have way. She reached into her hand bag and
pulled out her panties, and slipped them on.
It was at that point that I noticed a hairline crack in my new
graphite fishing rod.
Do you think that is something that I can fix by myself, or should I
take it back to the tackle shop I bought it at.
Thank you for your advice.
Yours truly,
Confused
