    Comment

    I am sure the comment that made our president MOST proud (of the university, not the country) was when the announcers proclaimed what a smart team Tech was.

    That many of the players were academic all- conference (was the number 7?) and that quite a few had already graduated, including one with a MBA in four years....

    It made me proud too. It is nice to know that we have some good students out there that are preparing for life after football.

    I always bring that stat up when talking Tech athletics to anyone outside the Tech family. It makes me very proud!
