You may be very right. Hopefully we will never have to endure her and let her further damage our health care system- there are enough problems already. I saw that yesterday. I don't know about there, but if that happened here he would certainly be getting very rich quickly. I am not sure how that happens- maybe you should check for a pulse before cutting open.

Not advocating for it, but the government has the money now to pay for this...

Either way, plans don't matter unless you can execute them correctly - and it's the U.S. government, no need to worry.

    It's a mute point.

Do you have any idea how nonsensical that statement is?

How so? The government does have the money, doesn't mean that I believe that's how it should be funded. But her plan calls for it to be government funded if I'm not mistaken, and everyone wants to bash it solely on the funding (raise taxes and such) instead of any merits or anything else. Well, she doesn't have to raise taxes... The money is there...

But, I'm not stupid. The government isn't going to pass up an opportunity to make more money for them to spend! Typical Americans...

Why should we pass a bill giving health care to children when we can spend $500,000 a minute to further destabilize the middle-east and create more terrorists to make the US even less safe? I guess the Republican version of healthcare is to send as many people to Iraq so that we dont have to worry about their health.

Because it is their's and that is the system we have... they could take more if they want, but we have to keep up the illusion of a democratic republic.

As we continue the downward spiral into pseudo-European socialism...

Thank you republicans for bungling your advantage in government by invading Iraq. You might have tried to make us safer today but you doomed us to the Democrats who can hurt our country much more than the Iraqi's situation.

I read about how the government was intended to work and wonder how the silver-tonged-government-justified-thieves would have cut it under an actual ELECTORATE system.

You have a very good point here. I also am of the belief that we are fooled into thinking we own anything at all in this world. My overly simplistic thinking causes me to relate paying taxes with paying rent to the government. For example, if you think you own a piece of property try not paying the taxes on it and see how long you have possesion of it. You will continue to pay rent on it to the government or they will take it from you. So who really owns it?

The same can be said of the money. If they want more of it they will simply take more from you.

Idiotic post. Health Care has been the same since the war as it was before.
