That's a great compliment since she put up with you all those years. I don't think I need to give you any history lessons on the Cowboys but in case some others out there don't realize...Landry and Schram built the Cowboys from scratch. They made it the most valuable franchise in the NFL. Jones just pulled off a mini Steinbrenner.
I wouldn't worry about them, they will be fine once they get through these exhibition games and get to the division schedule.
I didn't say he didn't know how to make money. I'd say that anybody with enough business sense to gather $100 million to invest would do as well or better than Jones. Compared to the value of the Yankees and return on investment the Cowboys/Jones are a mini-Yankees/Steinbrenner. Jones could NEVER have done what he was able to do without Landry and Schram paving the way for him.
As for Benson, even if he had the ability he could never do with New Orleans what Landry/Schram/Jones have done with Dallas. The same could be said for most of the NFL teams.
Ahum, still here.
I just thought this deserved a revisit now that we are a game out of 1st in our division. Gotta keep building though, the Jags are tough.
I dont hear you complaining about all the State Tax Revenue that Saints games and hosting the Superbowl brings in. But if it makes you feel better to support Texas instead of Louisiana, go ahead. And you wonder why North La is viewed at as backwards... they love Dallas, yet the majority of the state's tax revenue that pays for their roads, education, etc, comes from New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
