    How did Dallas...?

As a Saints fan, I understand the season that Dallas is having and the promise of Romo. My question is why is this game on MNF?

The Saints had a MNF game this year based on last year's success and I understand how Dallas has sucked less over the course of the past few years gets them more games.

How do the Bills get this game on Monday night. I can see this at best a Sunday night game with the Giants and Jets on MNF. This matchup doesn't make sen$e to me, MNF should be the best matchup of the week.

And don't tell me Romo is God's gift to football and we should all enjoy watching him play.

The Bills haven't been on MNF in a long time, and Dallas was a play-off team last season. That's all I got for you. Who can ever guess what tv execs are thinking?

Superbowl rematch...twice over. They welcomed hall of famer Thurman Thomas before the game...But, like indesu said, you can never guess what TV execs are thinking. On a side note, I don't care one way or another if Dallas loses, but if Romo keeps throwin' picks, my fantasy week is shot.

Wow. Awesome game. Romo is the real deal. I still can't stand Jerry Jones.

I agree, before the game, I was wondering why is this game on MNF. But wow, after watching it, that was one of the weirdest, coolest games I have ever seen.

I can not believe they won by throwing 5 INTS.

It is moving to where the best game will be the Sunday night game. MNF as we know it has died.

You are exactly right. I love the Sunday night game. MNF is turning into the old Sunday night game on ESPN. I thought not having Theisman in the booth would help, but Tony and Jaws just make it seem like an afterthought.

    Re: How did Dallas...?

It was a way to get a team that hadnt been on MNF in a long time some air time while not losing ratings because the knew Dallas would still draw. It was probably to appease the small market teams like Buffalo. It was a very good game, though.

Me either. Someone on the radio was talking about how the Cowboys didn't deserve to win that game. ...True, but if you get 5 int's and a fumble recovery and only can manage 3 offensive points you really don't deserve to win either.

....Crazy Game. Fun to watch. If the Cowboys pull that crap next week New England will hang half a hundred on them.

    Re: How did Dallas...?

I thought when I heard about the game that the Bills coaches deserve the blame for this one (or praise, if you're a Cowboy fan). I'm not the only one to think this.

Dr. Z at SI has this: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200...win/index.html

And even though I haven't read TMQ yet (because it is soooooo long and I haven't had time), one of his main running themes is that there are times when three runs right up the middle for no gain can win ballgames and that certainly would have happened here. I'll bet he brings that up.

Dr. Z also mentions in that article that you are supposed to make adjustments at half-time.

    Weird.

I agree, and I am cowboys nut. With a rookie qb and a chance to make it a two possession game, you have to be conservative. I thought they were very conservative the whole game unitl the last time they were in the red zone. That being said, you still can't expect to win games when you only score 3 offensive points.
