Seriously, were there 1,500 people on the west side? That must have been a sad jolt to the members of the 1987 1-AA championship team who were invited to attend.
I saw some of the ULL-UNT game on Gameplan and I believe they had fewer than ulm-ASU. It was a very quiet stadium.

and count the number of people he could see in it. I just talked to him, and he said that its kind of hard to be exact down towards the end, but that there were at best count 800.
I didn't believe him, so I personally counted the upper deck. The number that I got TOTAL was something like 170. I double checked that one to be sure.
I couldn't stop there, so I tried to count, just lower deck, this side of the 50. The number that I got (counting by fives) was about 250.
Thats 420. That leaves about 400 on the right side of the 50, if his count was close there, which I have no desire to try and count.
Hell give him 200 extra just to be safe.
Thats 1000 people max on the entire home side.
Check it yourself if you doubt it...
That looks about right. That would mean that ASU must have had around 11,000 there that we can't see in the picture.
Don't they count season ticket holders even if they don't show up? Most of the NLULM fans/season ticket holders were down at the UF/lsu game.
