For the LSU fans who just don't understand...

To be honest, I was disappointed in the lack of creativity of th lspoo fans. The "Tiger Bait!" cheer that everyone feared so much was pretty weak. (not to mention they stole it from florida). And the most creative heckling we received to our boxes of corndogs was "F*&^ TECH!". Shows the level of wit you have to work with down there.

Wait, what? You say that LSU fans displayed lack of creativity in response to your boxes of cordogs...because "corndogs" is obviously something clever that you brewed up yourself...

It is about money and politics, in reality Louisianana and Arkansas are very similar in the way they push the one school mentality. Who is last this year is always a coin flip. Louisiana politics remain the same is it no wonder that the board that controls the schools out side the LSU system is controled by LSU people. Also, after returning from the game one observation if you looked at the goal post, most are supported by a single pole but I suppose that would require to much advance design work for LSU.

I thought that LSU was one of the relatively few schools that has an athletic department that doesn't rely on budget dollars from the university?

(And LSU has stuck with the two-pole goal posts so that the team can run out of the locker room and through the goal posts.)

I was a little heated when I called LA Tech ugly. It isn't ugly, but it isn't prettier than LSU's campus by any stretch of the imagination. I forget the name of the publication, and I can try to find it if anyone doesn't believe me, that ranked LSU's campus as the prettiest in the country,

LSU Times I think is probably the name of the publication you're thinking of!

LSU used the single poles for a few years in the '90's, but returned to the traditional two pole goal posts a few years later. It's a tradition as is marking the field in 5-yard increments. Please check your facts before you again show your ignorance or arrogance.

For Louisiana Tech fans who just don't understand: Now that the game is over and all you die-hard Tech fans are depressed, disappointed, and frustrated from the game this weekend. I hope you can now wake up and realize that all the talking that was done since this game was scheduled....amounted to nothing. Well, 10 points. Congrats. I think that puts the series at 17-1 and the scoring totals at (616-42). Yeh, that's a 574 point deficit. That might be one reason LSU has no respect for you.

It's funny, that how when I was at the game yesterday, wearing purple and gold no doubt, I asked about 15-20 people, not drunk LSU students, where is Tech and who are they? And to be honest, 3 out of 4 didn't know. If you want to continue convincing yourself that it's a political thing or a money thing, that makes LSU a much superior athletic department....then keep doing so, but the truth is:

Tech fans don't get it, it's all about winning. Nothing else matters. Something that Tech football just does not understand. It's more than strapping on a set of pads so you can go to school for free.... Tech players. It's everything for an LSU football player to pull that purple and gold jersey over their pads and represent their school under the lights among 92,500 people who live and die LSU football. Every time the whistle blows, their hearts and dreams are on the line, life or death every down.

I am a Tech student, from Baton Rouge, and there is no other place I would rather get my education than Louisiana Tech. But at the same time there is no place I would rather be on a fall Saturday afternoon than watching an LSU football game in Baton Rouge. That 4 hour drive is worth it everytime. I'm sorry if you think I am a sell out, or a trader. Get over it, maybe if Tech football, or hell any Tech athletic team, would have the heart to win more than a handful or games a season, I could get into Tech Sports. And it's just not me, in fact you die hards are the minority, because while Tech is losing yet another game at Joe Aillet, most students are watching who LSU is playing that afternoon.

Do have a problem with what I'm saying? Does it piss you off, that a Tech student can be a die-hard LSU fan and care less about Tech athletics. Then do something about. Like win for a change. I'll say it again,.....it's all about winning, nothing else matters. Respect is earned not given. If you Tech fans or Tech players want respect from LSU, or anyone in this country for that matter, then your football team has to be the one who earns it. You had yet another prime opportunity to earn it last night.....and all that was amounted was 10 measly points.

I live in Baton Rouge, and would love to trade spots with you because there's probably not many places I'd rather live than Ruston. Have you thought of trying to help Tech get better? I guess not. When you have a brand new coach where clearly the effort was made to build a program, why not decide to join the fun and encourage your school to do better? I'm getting ready to go red dot you. You have a great time spending Black Friday at Tiger Stadium. In another 10 years when Tech is in a place much better than now, you'll maybe jump on a bandwagon when we make our way to a BCS bowl game. But, know you weren't part of helping get Tech there! Take satisfaction in just piling on to the abundance that LSU already has.

He's a special kind of low life alright. I went want to take my blood pressure right now. He's a real loser - a guy that comes in AFTER the game to GLOAT and say Tech has no reason for even existing. Sure makes you wonder why he decided to attend Tech instead of LSU. Perhaps it had something to do with the quality of education or lack thereof that he would've received in his chosen field? What a loser. So, no when and if Tech ever makes another bowl game by winning the bare minimum of 6-7 games....I won't jump on the bandwagon, because I have a grip on reality.

YOU are the reason most Tech fans hate LSU fans. One simple question that only requires one simple answer: If you love LSU so much, why did you choose to go to Tech? You obviously had a choice when you came out of high school. Baton Rouge a little too far from home? You weren't weaned from your mom's nipple yet? Honestly, what is your reason? Being a Tiger fan is the easy thing to do, and realistically, that's why most fans (that didn't attend school there) root for them. They have no sack. They don't want to go against the norm. They don't have the courage nor respect to support a school when it may not be so easy to. You will take your degree from Tech and possibly use it for the rest of your life, yet what did you do for Louisiana Tech? You did not support the school that supported you. You are the definition of a "bandwagon fan". You are not alone, and have many that think just like you. Again, because it's the easy thing to do. My guess would be that you didn't have much going for you when you were younger, maybe an outcast, or didn't have many friends. I bet you never played sports. When you kept seeing people wearing their LSU garb, you decided that that may be your only way to feel accepted. Thus, an LSU "fan" was born. If you want to pull for them, that's your business. You have that right. But please don't come to OUR site and rip us, especially when you attend school here. I know its hard for you to understand, but not everyone worships LSU. When you grow up and get a life, maybe it will hit you. But I doubt it. You are a disgrace to LOUISIANA TECH. I really feel sorry for you.
