I actually saw it when it happened. Rewinded the TV several times. If you could have seen how hard he got stomped on, it would make you have sympathy pains.
That was a cheap shot by Timmons. I'm not a huge Ricky fan, but Timmons deserves a big fine for that...definitely intentional.
C'mon guys, this wasn't intentional. Timmons was just chasing RW's fumble on that play. If Lippincott fumbles on Saturday do you want Quinn Harris tiptoeing around guys before he goes for the ball?
I would have to watch it again, but I wasnt very sure of how intentional it was. I remember in my glory days of playing HS football. I had just been tackled and I saw one of my own huge lineman running toward me, it was like slow motion as I saw his cleats come down on my hand. Luckily, my fingers went in between the cleats, narrowly escaping a possible broken finger(s). Stuff like this happens, if Ricky hadnt been laying awkwardly, it wouldnt have even hurt him. Got stepped on quite a few times.
I will have to watch again because I cant watch YouTube at work.
I saw that too. It was definitely intentional. What a thug.
I watched the game and saw this happen. ESPN even replayed it several times and talked about it being the cause of the injury. You can clearly see Timmons jump onto Williams' arm after the play was blown dead. I'm sure the NFL will review this and fine Timmons for his action. If they don't, then Timmons will be on the receiving end of a cheap shot the next time the Fins and Steelers play...
Aside from the foot stomping...how cool was it when that punted football died in the mud...
Guess who had started Williams on his fantasy team. :bigcry:
I picked Williams up but he is like my 5th back ... I figured if they are trying to shop him for a draft pick then they will try to get him some carries late in the season and even Chatman is getting 100 yd games ... better than freakin Gore who killed me this season (of course he racked up sick numbers on my bench this week).
