FWIW, I confirmed it just now. She "resigned" yesterday.

This makes two volleyball coaches that Joakes has fired and he caused the resignation of another. the worst one we've had he did nothing about until he finally let her resign after we complained for years. the problem here is that he will hire the next one who will either be fired or allowed to resign after a period of fighting for funding with the Joak. as long as he is allowed to pose as AD, all Tech programs will suffer.

In the last three years, we've recycled coaches at golf, women's basketball, tennis, football, men's basketball, soccer, and now volleyball. I don't really pay attention as much to other schools, is this normal?

Its normal when you have an unqualified person or a clown running your athletic department. I still really can't comprehend how this man is being allowed to have the title AD. He has so under performed to the point where I am baffled, yet he is held to ZERO expectations. If Jim Oakes had any pride, one ounce of pride, he would step down. But he knows that his lazy ass will be held accountable at another job, so he will continue to ride the gravy train until the president has a testicle transplant, b/c he has none, or either the president retires. Oakes is a joke of an AD.
