Yes, these are must adds (except, perhaps, Faith No More). And, for the record, I believe that Smashing Pumkins ARE the 90s.

Makes me glad I missed most of the "music" scene growing up... I know most all these bands, but most of them, to me, sucked... they had a few good songs, but overall, most of their songs just sucked to me. And some I just never listened to because I just didn't like anything they had.

Yeah, the list can go on...There were some good rock albums in the 90's.

going on to other genres, I really liked the Fugees, Beastie Boys (Check Your Head, totally a great album).

Wouldn't the Beastie Boys be more considered a LATE 80's band?

The 90's begins and ends with Nirvana -

They kind of have their own stratosphere much like Zepplin -

Music has really headed south the last decade and a half -

Once you get past thier bubble gum pop of "cracked rear view" which is what 95% of people identify them with -

The next three albums were pretty good material even though they were flops commercially -

    Fairweather Johnson
    Musical Chairs
    Scattered, Smotherd and Covered

All real good music and good listens -
