Ok.. this is a wierd Gallup poll. Sounds like some of you guys need to run to the other side of the aisle quickly.

Republicans have impaired judgment and a severe lack of insight into their mental health.

I would be interested in seeing the survey itself. If they asked them, "Do you consider yourself mentally healthy," or "How would you rate your overall mental health," that is proof only that Republicans are more likely than others to SAY they are mentally healthy. On the other hand, if they asked specific questions on indices that contribute to mental health (e.g., symptom checklists, etc.), that would make the findings much more interesting.

Yes, between repeated denials of no wrong-doing in men's restrooms, and fourth and fifth marriages, and your children not speaking to you, and blatant religious hypocrisy, and sending more and more troops into a war that was lied about from day one, at least the Republicans have something to cheer about. Better mental health. I'm happy for them, truly.

    Re: Republicans: Better Mental Health

I think democrats do have worse mental health, mainly because we spend a lot of time going "WHAT??? HOW CAN THEY HONESTLY BELIEVE THIS??? IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE!!! THERE IS NO LOGICAL REASON FOR PEOPLE TO ACT THIS WAY OR THINK THIS STUFF!!!" and then we break down babbling. Where as Republicans have better health because they just ignore contrary facts that disprove their world view and keep living in their happy fantasy world.
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." - Theodore Roosevelt
