Any opinions on the best year?

My birth year would probably be in the running for the worst. Good year for being born, bad year for music.

yeah, with the exception of charlie daniels and dire straits, the music world would be just fine if 1979 never happened. texastina's birth year two years earlier was much better, but still nowhere near the best.
