That's not terrible, but man, their big hit (Hate Me) was such a beating when it was on the radio all the time.

That's not terrible, but man, their big hit (Hate Me) was such a beating when it was on the radio all the time.

I came home from the show and had to Google Justin to find out more about him. It's a GREAT story! He was diagnosed with Bipolar in his teens and spent time in a mental institution. He has struggled with suicidal ideation for a long time. His lyrics are so dark and depressing and he lays it all out there in his music. He went through a terrible time about 3 years ago when he lost his wife and little baby girl. Then he met a new lady, got her pregnant, married her and she told him he would never see that baby if he didn't stop the drugs and alcohol. He has turned his life around and found a "higher power" and is now writing positive songs of hope (like the one above). I'm just a big fan of his and I'm praying for him and I hope he doesn't slip back into the darkness.
