We employ student workers in my office (currently all working remotely) and sometimes with some of them we'll trade spotify playlists and this morning one was telling me that she enjoyed The Harder They Come on one I'd shared. Obviously, it's a big thrill for me to introduce people to great music and see them enjoy it (if it's not clear that I like sharing music from this endless thread, I mean. . .) so i was quite pleased for all of 2 seconds. In full on Dad mode I was giving her the history of Jimmy Cliff and the movie and how the song has become somewhat of a standard and I even have a version by Willie Nelson somewhere and I get this response back -
I don't think I've heard of Willy Nelson before, is he still doing music?

Ankor covering Billie Eilish's Bad Guy
I also just finished watching Umbrella Academy. I think they had some great covers (and some not so great). My Kullsvik covering Adelle's Hello in Swedish was a standout, imo (even if four years old).
