I'll never forget the moment driving along Loop 1604 with my highschool son sitting shotgun when he grew quiet. That was a rare instance at the time. I had a classic rock station on. As the song ended, my son said "Wow that is a great song. Who is that group?" That is the Beatles and the name of the song is A Day in the Life. He asked who was in the band. I replied that it was Paul McCartney and... I was interrupted when I mentioned Paul. He said Paul McCartney is in a new band! Shortly after that all my CDs started to disappear. My Hendrix Greatest Hits was the first to go. He even took my Grand Funk Railroad Greatest Hits.

I'm sitting here with my 15 year old son and he is listening to Kansas on his Mac Laptop, and it did my heart good to hear him say, "wow this is great music". Now he is listening to Boston. If history does repeat itself, I certainly hope it covers music too.
U2- 40
That's the band U2, singing their song called "40," not the band UB40.
A whole lot of Chris Thomas King. He is awesome. From N.O. too!

“It’s a great experience seeing them play. It was a good atmosphere. The fans stood up the whole game and never sat down. They have a great fan base.”
